Dr. Rosner received his Medical Degree, with Honors, from New York University School of Medicine where he graduated first in his class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his internship and medical residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard University in Boston, MA. Dr. Rosner returned to New York to complete his fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Rosner is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. His areas of expertise include consultative cardiology, critical care cardiology, and non-invasive cardiac imaging. Dr. Rosner is board certified in cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac CT, and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Rosner’s research has been published in prestigious, peer-reviewed journals, including Circulation, Circulation - Heart Failure, Journal of American College of Cardiology, and Critical Care Medicine.

He is the co-author of the textbook, Congenital Heart Disease in the Adult and contributing author on others. Dr. Rosenbaum has led the Schneeweiss Adult Congenital Heart Center since 1987. The Center is one of the leading programs in adult congenital heart disease in the world, and one of only a handful of programs in the country with the depth of experience in this evolving, complex field. The Center treats more than 30 different forms of congenital heart disease, including some of the rarest and most complex congenital conditions. Dr. Rosenbaum sees patients in Washington Heights in Manhattan, Long Island, New York, White Plains, New York and Englewood, New Jersey.

Ajay J. Kirtane, MD, SM, is the Director of Columbia Interventional Cardiovascular Care and Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He is an internationally-renowned leader in the field of Interventional Cardiology, with a particular focus on providing exceptional and evidence-based care to patients with complex coronary and peripheral vascular disease. In addition to his clinical commitments, Dr. Kirtane has a strong interest in clinical education and research, serving as Chief Academic Officer of the Division of Cardiology, and as director of several international, national, and regional educational conferences in Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine. Dr. Kirtane’s research interests are in clinical trials and outcomes of device-based and pharmacologic interventions to help patients with cardiovascular disease. He is/has been Principal Investigator and serves on the steering committees of numerous clinical trials in interventional cardiovascular medicine and has authored over 700 peer-reviewed publications. Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey, Dr. Kirtane is a graduate of Ridgewood High School, Princeton University, and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and completed his residency/chief residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California – San Francisco. He then completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Coronary and Peripheral Vascular Intervention at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center / Harvard Medical School and additionally obtained a Masters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health prior to moving back to Columbia. In his free time, Dr. Kirtane has avid interests in music and sports, and lives in New Jersey with his family.
