In the early 1980's ranch owner Jerry Kinkade turned the main ranch lodge into a western style bed and breakfast. Jerry's vision for the property was to provide guests a comfortable lodging experience combined with the fun and excitement of a working ranch. Jerry has carefully decorated each room in the K3 Lodge with a western theme, including authentic western collectables and artwork. Especially unique to K3 are the vintage wagons that have been converted to comfy queen sized beds giving guests the most unique western sleeping experience they've have ever enjoyed! Not finished yet, Jerry found an authentic 1896 sheepherder's wagon, converted it to a sleeping room, and set it beside the K3 hay fields. This year a family tent was added beside the wagon and this combination of truly western sleeping accommodations is most popular with our adventure seeking visitors. For an added wester ranch experience there's "Day Ranching at K3 Guest Ranch". Day ranching provides guests with all of the things that a ranch visit should - a hearty ranch breakfast, a visit to the horse barns to see trick horses Stormy, Zip and Shelly, a trip to visit the McCullough Peaks wild mustangs, hay rides, horseshoes, fishing, hiking and relaxing in the great outdoors of Wyoming.
