Koss Corporation is a United States-based manufacturer of high-fidelity stereophones. The company is known throughout the world for its stereophones and audio accessories. It also offers telecommunications, mobile and public safety communications headsets through its Koss Communications division and digital audiophile compact disc recordings of American orchestras on its Koss Classic label, including the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, the city in which the company is based. Koss stereophones can be used from the customer s home, on-the-go, in the car on a plane or at the gym. The stereophones are available in full-size, portable, streetwise, earbud, side-firing behind-the-head, wireless and in noise-cancellation models. Founded in 1986, Koss Corporation joined forces with the city of Milwaukee and the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company to underwrite the international syndication of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra radio broadcasts.
