Benedictine Living Community-Wausau provides long-term skilled nursing services in Benedictine Manor and short-term rehabilitation services in the state-of-the-art Benedictine Wellness Center. Originally known as Marywood Convalescent Center, Benedictine Living Community-Wausau was established in 1980 by the Diocese of La Crosse to provide health care and residential services to the greater Wausau community. A state-of-the-art rehabilitation unit was added in 2010. In 2012 sponsorship was transferred from the Diocese of La Crosse to Benedictine.

Wausau Manor Nursing Home is a more than 24,000-square-foot, privately owned skilled nursing home designed to meet the needs of the elderly. It is certified by the Federal Medicare Program and is fully licensed by the state and federal governments. It offers a wide range of activities to residents, such as morning stretches, bowling, volleyball, gardening, holiday parties, movies, music, outdoor visits, pontoon rides, mind joggers, creative writing lab and Bible study. The center provides a variety of services, including nursing, dietary, social services, laundry, light housekeeping, companionship, and speech, occupational and physical therapies. Wausau Manor Nursing Home is a 60-bed skilled care facility and is located in Wausau, Wis.
