Washington State Bar Association

Washington State Bar Association is a private, nonprofit organization authorized by the Washington State Supreme Court to license the state's lawyers. It administers the admissions, licensing, and disciplinary functions for lawyers in Washington, and provides various services to its members. The bar association regulates lawyers under the authority of the court and serves its members as a professional association. It is a regulatory agency that administers the bar admission process and offers services, including conducting the bar exam, record keeping and licensing and administering the disciplinary system. The bar association provides continuing legal education for attorneys in addition to various other educational and member service activities. Washington State Bar Association is located in Seattle.
