State Veterans Homes

Washington Veterans Home is a full-service facility that is managed by the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs. The facilities are specifically for those who served in the United States military, providing care for veterans from all branches of the service. Washington Veterans Home serves more than 275 residents with community-oriented skilled nursing and assisted-living care services. The center offers various retirement living options, including residential and assisted living apartments, personal and skilled care, rehabilitation services, home care, skilled nursing, home health and home support services. In addition, it offers various rehabilitative programs that include physical, respite, occupational and speech therapies, and podiatry, palliative and hospice care services. Washington Veterans Home also provides recreational activities, social services and religious and voluntary programs, as well as maintains a beauty salon and barbershop.
