Spanaway Junior High enrolls more than 800 students in grades seven through nine. It operates several educational departments, such as communication arts, humanities, reading, life and earth science, and health and physical education. The school additionally offers programs in American social studies, Washington State history, mathematics, industrial arts, Spanish, vocal music, and family and consumer science.
