History

As a first generation Norwegian-American, I've had the opportunity to learn from a grandfather who fought for Norway during the German occupation in WWII. Because of the post war poverty in Norway, my grandfather Leif Jarl Kaldestad, arrived in this country with nothing. Through his hard work, he became well-established here in Ballard! I was also fortunate enough to learn and practice discipline and work ethics starting at a young age. Growing up, my father sold high end furniture. His customers often wanted their items delivered. As a young man, I was assigned delivery which quickly gave me the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of running a moving business. Years later, I opened my own business, Seattle Moves & More! Throughout my experiences in the industry, I have enjoyed meeting my customers moving needs and expectations. In a growing city such as Seattle, customer satisfaction is our main priority!
