Book your tickets in advance! That's my advice to you. We had plans to leave Seattle and take the train to Portland but... who knew that was the Disney train! Sold out. We ended up on a bus...

Efficient train Amtrak system. Easy travel from BC to Seattle and then on to Portland. Dining car, while not gourmet, has a variety of food and beverages to satisfy. Enjoy!
