The Connections Museum features working electromechanical central-office switches (Step-By-Step, Panel, Crossbar, and ESS). It also has working Step-by-Step and Crossbar PBX equipment as well as antique telephones, switchboards, outside plant displays, and other related communications equipment and machines. Guided tours during open hours, Sunday, 10am-3pm. Come see how telephone calls were made in the first 100 years of their use!

This museum equipment that no other place. The fact that almost all of the equipment was fully functional is extremely impressive especially since some of it is almost 100 years old.

Truly a hidden gem, a must do in Seattle! My partner found it while we were visiting a couple weeks ago and it was the highlight of our trip! The museum is only open on Sundays for a few hours....
