History

Chris started in South Seattle just a few years after WWII. I am his son and I remember 3 locations there. Then in 1968 we moved to Oak Harbor and served baked goods until 1998. March of 2017 we (Patrick, Maribeth and Meghan) started again with most of the original formulations and some new products.

Specialties

We are a full line retail bakery that offers speciality decorated cakes and cupcakes for all occasions. We have Danish pastry, croissants, cookies, muffins, breads and many other traditional baked goods.

Donuts were delicious, as was the pie! Great service, quick and efficient. They sold day old items as well for a fraction of the cost which allowed me to buy more treats!

Chris' is where we have gone for some ultra-pretty birthday cakes, bulk cupcakes, and fancy doughnuts. It's on the spendier side when compared with a grocery store.... But it's not a grocery...

Picked up a birthday cake. The gal helping me was great, offering options in lieu of writing on the cake. The didn't have serving items and candle selection was quite low and there were no matches...
