Chelan County Sheriff's Office provides law enforcement and crime prevention services in the city of Wenatchee, Wash. It has a ceremonial unit that provides honor guard services for deputies and their families. The department has a citizen s advisory committee, chaplain s and rescue units, and crime prevention, emergency management and marine patrol divisions. Chelan County Sheriff's Office also has a Special Weapons and Tactics team that in incidents, such as hostage situations, barricaded suspects, and high-risk warrant service and marijuana grow operations. In addition, Chelan County Sheriff's Office operates a records team that handles insurance, incident and victim reports, pistol and firearm licenses, citations and sex offender registration and information.
