History

We first opened the bookstore in January 2007 in the Pine Street Mall, and soon found we needed to expand. In the fall or 2007 we obtained the space at 312 N Main, in the historic Arcade Building. We helped to renovate large portions of that space, and it has many historic aspects, such as the large fireplace, large windows, hexagonal-tile floor, brick walls, etc. There is a description and photos of the space at our website.

Bailey's Bibliomania is the largest bookstore in Kittitas County, WA, specializing in used and new books. We also have cards, notebooks, postcards, magnets, booklights, bookmarks, etc. Too much to list! We also have lots of comfortable seating, hot & cold refreshments, and free Wi-Fi. This is a great place to look around, get comfortable, meet your friends, and attend our events. Yes, we also have had poetry readings, music, authors' book signings, and more. Come in to relax and enjoy the historic space, now In a remodeled historic building in Kittitas, WA.
