HistoryAfter several years of working in education and counseling at the post-secondary level and nine years working in publishing, my passion, education, and admiration for the field of psychotherapy led me to start my private practice in 2009. Before starting my psychotherapy practice I completed my counseling internship and worked at the community mental health level serving clients from the greater Seattle area. I am now privileged to work with individuals, couples, and families of all ages and from a variety of diverse backgrounds, cultures, religions, and sexual orientation and identities.SpecialtiesI offer individual counseling, couples / marriage counseling, and family counseling and therapy in the downtown Seattle area. I also offer on-line & virtual counseling services. I specialize in issues related to: depression, anxiety, relationship & marriage conflict, stress, phase-of-life issues, loss & grief, sexuality & intimacy, gay and lesbian struggles, personality issues, issues related to men, impulsivity and behavioral addictions, adjustment issues, and codependency. Psychotherapy can help you to manage stress, become self-aware and self-reliant, boost your self-esteem, tackle intimacy, infidelity and issues related to couples, work through interpersonal and intrapersonal conflicts, confront your fears, manage anxiety and depression, learn to communicate effectively, set healthy boundaries, move through pain, suffering, and grief, find purpose, become balanced and centered, and accomplish the goals that are important to you.
