He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond in 1991. He is married to a lawyer/journalist and has two beautiful children: a daughter and a son. In his free time, Dr. Popli enjoys swimming, tennis, and traveling.In 2003, Dr. Popli became the first dentist in the Tysons area to utilize the Waterlase dental laser. The dental laser was demonstrated live from the office on Washington DC's WUSA9. He quickly became known as the "Laser Dentist" by adults and children who have experienced its benefits: no shots, no drills, and no numbness!Dr. Popli also has extensive post-graduate training in orthodontics and Invisalign, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, and periodontal treatment.
