History

Legends Motorworks Auto Repair specializes in working on collector cars, muscle cars, kit cars, and antique cars. Greg has many years of experience as a car enthusiast and has worked on all types of cars himself, so he really knows what it takes to properly prepare and maintain a special car. In the shop you will see photos on the walls of many vintage cars they have worked on; including Torino, Chevelle, Mustang, AC Cobra, Thunderbird, Corvette, Impala, Camaro, Oldsmobile 442, Cadillacs from the 1960's, and hot rods.

Legends Motorworks LLC of Alexandria is manned by a talented staff of car enthusiasts and mechanics with over 55 years combined experience. The shop is located just across Route 1 from the Potomac Yards Shopping Center, one minute south of Crystal City. Over many years, Greg has built a reputation of great service for a fair price. He and his staff are willing to tackle jobs that many other auto shops will turn away. They also love working on old cars; there is always at least one old interesting car in the shop. It might be a muscle car, an antique car, or even a replica Cobra. The shop is fully equipped with all of the necessary equipment, including diagnostic machines, tire machines, front end equipment, brake lathes, air conditioning flush machine, cooling system recycling machine, etc. Besides offering the standard maintenance and repairs, Greg will also take on motor repair, engine rebuilding, transmission repair, and transmission rebuilding. Greg himself is a transmission specialist. His father owned Custom Transmission Service, Inc. when Greg was growing up, so he has over 35 years of experience in transmission repair work.
