About Mark Steel Jewelry In 1979, Mark (Mark Steel) began making jewelry. Working out of his garage, using a few simple hand tools, Mark began making finger rings and bracelets. He sold his work at the Park City Arts Festival and at a shop in the local mall. Little did he know that thirty years later Mark Steel Jewelry would be a successful business, selling jewelry in all fifty states, dedicated to quality and customer service. Mark was still working out of his garage when Matt joined him in 1986. They formed a partnership and the company began to take shape, forming out of Mark's creative ability and Matt's sense for business management. Today, Mark remains the artist, creating unique, classic styles that withstand the fads of the industry. Matt handles the day to day business operations. Both Matt and Mark work together on a daily basis to increase the quality of the jewelry, and improve customer satisfaction. Throughout the years, the company has evolved. From a small town in central Utah, to the blistering heat of El Paso Texas, Mark Steel has been creating a distinctive look of jewelry that is unique to any other. The company has now come full circle, as it is based in Kamas Valley, just 10 miles east of where Mark first started to sell jewelry. Although many years have passed, the commitment to excellence remains. Each piece of jewelry is hand crafted by high quality, well-trained professionals who take pride in their work. The finest materials combined with skilled craftsmanship have made Mark Steel successful for thirty years.
