Gateway Academy 2

Gateway Academy is a welfare agency that offers skills development and self-regulation programs for youths. Its outdoor recreational program includes rock climbing, rappelling, canoeing, skiing and snowboarding activities. Gateway Academy undertakes various projects including, humanity, feeding homeless people, community gardening, and local and national park cleanups. Its academic program s curriculum includes mathematics, science, social studies, English, Spanish, physical education and fine arts. The agency also organizes trips to museums, historical sites and entertainment facilities. Its treatment program includes workshops on social competency, positive identity, sexual development, self-destructive behavior patterns, and alcohol and drug abuse. It employs therapists, teachers, mentors and supervisor and maintains a location in Salt Lake City.
