Municipal Valve & Equipment Company, Inc ( MVE ) started in November of 1991 by Mr. John Taylor of North American Pipe and is located in Dallas, Texas. MVE is a manufacturer representative firm who sells and services water and wastewater treatment equipment, valves and frabricated steel and ductile iron pipe to the water treatment industry in Texas and Oklahoma. Marketing efforts are maintained through direct specification work consulting engineers, cities, and private developers. Sales are in turn generated through the public bid process to general contractors, end-user maintenance programs and existing facility renovations and expansions. MVE represents many companies who manufacture specialty engineered products and who are industry recognized as the leaders in their respective field. In 1992, MVE opened an office in Houston, Texas to expand the market oportunity and to provide statewide coverage for both sales and services. In 1994 Mr. Taylor sold the company to David McGoodwin and Randy Greene. Later that same year the company was relocated to the current location.
