History
Dr. Stephanie Han earned her medical degree from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at University of Buffalo. She then completed residency at the prestigious Yale-New Haven Hospital of Yale School of Medicine. She brings more than 18 years of clinical experience in treating breast, gastrointestinal, prostate, head & neck, hematologic and gynecological malignancies. Prior to moving to El Paso, Dr. Han was medical director of radiation oncology department at Kettering Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. She was also an assistant professor at NYU Medical Center in New York City and helped build the new cancer Center of Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. While in New York, she worked directly with Dr. Patrick Borgen, a world-renowned breast surgeon, who later became the chairman of Maimonides Medical Center. She has extensive training and experiences in GammaKnife Stereotactic Radiosurgery as well as in Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT).
