We are lifelong members of the Goldthwaite community with family hailing from Central Texas for almost 100 years. In discussion about what we wanted for the town in the future, there came a dream of renovating our great-grandfather's grocery store into a Texan proud mercantile and restaurant. Opening our doors in Goldthwaite in 2020, Southside Tavern offers a menu of dishes influenced by local ingredients, culinary traditions, and things you just cant get round here! We hope our food brings family and friends together.Our process is grounded in our commitment to fresh food and good service. Every recipe we create is something we personally enjoy. Stopped by for lunch and was super impressed. Will definitely be stopping by again. Also had the Cajun cheese curds (didn't last long enough for a pic!!) This is the place to go!
