The best Shipleys donuts I've been to (in or outside of Houston.) Happy I tried it. Not sure why the reviews on this place were low (in rereading them, it seems like they're actually complaints...

Visited today for an apple fritter and a simple glazed donut. The place is clean and prompt but the donuts were way too sweet. It was like eating raw sugar. Not good at all.

I order via Uber eats so didn't get the in-store experience; but I've grown up in TX, loving Shipley's; however, this location (Preston) simply can not execute a basic sausage and cheese kolache...

Got the glaze and new cookie donut, kids loved both of them I had the ham and cheese kolache which I think was the best. Delicious warm and fresh bread!
