Richard Beaver, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle. Shupe is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is actively involved in the orthopedic community. He serves locally as the vice chair of orthopedic surgery at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center and nationally on committees for the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. Outside of work, Shupe enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, exercising, watching movies, and traveling.
