Lice Clinics of America was opened by two Austin moms, Jessica Evans and Michelle Sunshine, who know first-hand how hard it is to get rid of a lice outbreak. In 2014, they launched LOUSTED as an effective and non-toxic lice solution to kill lice and their eggs in one treatment. In 2016, they re-branded to Lice Clinics of America, a world leader in lice-treatment services and the world's largest network of lice-removal professionals.

Memorial City area, with one of the leading hospitals in town, and many professional buildings around, offers a great work environment for people in the medical field, everything a nurse need except a place to shop for scrubs, there was no medical uniform store around for miles, people had to go to downtown medical center to shop for one. Memorial Uniforms opened in the 18th of July 2005 to provide a great shopping experience for anybody who needs a uniform, no matter where their career path is, at school, in the hospital or in their own practice.
