Mooney Aerospace Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mooney Airplane Company, is a general-aviation holding firm. Mooney Airplane Company builds high-performance airplanes for private aviation. The company s single-engine, piston-powered airplanes feature enhanced instrumentation, redundant electrical and vacuum systems, air conditioning, anti-icing devices, and efficient speed and rate-of-climb capabilities. Its aircraft are equipped with steel-tube roll bars that provide safety and security. Mooney maintains an international network of more than 40 authorized service centers throughout the United States and 15 centers abroad. The company s product models include the M20, Ovation, Bravo DX, Bravo GX, Ovation2 DX and Ovation2 GX. It has manufactured and delivered more than 11,000 aircraft worldwide. Mooney was founded in 1946 and has headquarters in Kerrville, Texas.
