Introducing the Moody Gardens® Golf Course, formerly the Galveston Municipal Golf Course, featuring a $16 million comprehensive renovation by the renowned golf course architects of Jacobsen Hardy Golf Course Design. Revealed in June 2008, the Moody Gardens® Golf Course still features the best historical aspects of the original layout, while significantly improving certain holes and overall course flow. The renovation included new turf grass, green complexes, elevations, irrigation, drainage, cart paths, greens and a full clubhouse renovation.

Strongly recommend you do NOT play this course if temperature above 75 degrees with little wind and high humidity. Fierce aggressive mosquitos on many holes. They need to saturate near water areas...

the people who run this course treat with nothing but disrespect. Was forced to buy a $70 collared shirt because it's their "policy" but saw many golfers wearing non collared shirts. Rangers and...

Have played here a few times. Course is well maintained and staff is always friendly. Would recommend bringing bug spray, as with most places in the island the mosquitoes are out here.
