Mathis High School

Mathis High School is an educational facility that offers learning options to more than 130 students in grades 9 through 12. The school manages a library and cafeteria. It offers food and guidance counseling services. Mathis High School provides instruction in a variety of subjects, such as social studies, English, math and science. The school administers special education, English as a Second Language, and gifted and talented programs. In addition, it serves economically disadvantaged and disabled students. Mathis High School encourages students to participate in football and drama activities, as well as organizes showcase nights. It is managed by the Mathis Independent School District, which operates intermediate and junior high institutes.
