Christina Y. Kim, MD, a UT Physicians neurologist, cares for adult patients in the Greater Houston area.Dr. Kim is board certified in neurology and fellowship trained in vascular neurology. She has clinical expertise in the management of stroke prevention, acute stroke treatment, and long-term stroke management.Her focus is on patient-centered care with an emphasis on education to help patients better understand the complexities of cerebrovascular disease and what evidence-based medicine can offer in their treatment and recovery.

Danica J Lapid, MD, is enthusiastic about providing evidence-based, patient-centered care for her patients. She wants her patients to feel heard and empowered throughout the treatment process. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Studies and Psychology at the University of Notre Dame, Lapid returned home for medical school at the McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. With an interest in women’s health, she additionally pursued a dual degree in Master of Public Health at the UTHealth Houston School of Public Health. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, trying new restaurants in the Houston area, and doing DIY projects.
