Julia Tyler, PA-C

Dr. Phetsamong Nhonthachit received his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. He completed his family medicine residency at the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where he served as chief resident during his final year. Dr. Nhonthachit provides care for the entire family. He treats patients for acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and general checkups. His clinical interests include preventive medicine. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Nhonthachit's top priority when with his patients is to have open dialogue. He ensures his patients feel comfortable enough to be honest with him. Only with open communication and honesty are his patients able to receive the best treatment plan to meet their needs and their health goals. He strives to partner with his patients to build the best plan of care for each patient.

Shmaila Ishaq, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Endocrinology specialist. She earned her medical degree in 1995 from Fatima Jinnah Medical University in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. In 2004, she completed her Internal Medicine residency at SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn in New York. She also completed her Endocrinology fellowship in 2011 at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Shreveport. Dr. Ishaq practiced as an endocrinologist for 10 years at North Broward Health District in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., before joining Kelsey-Seybold in January 2022.
