Shadycrest Elementary School is an educational institution that serves more than 600 students in prekindergarten through grade four. It is a part of the Pearland Independent School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, English language arts, science and social studies. The school also offers a variety of extracurricular programs in art, music and physical education. In addition, the school provides medical care, speech pathology, and guidance and counseling services to its students. It also provides food and transportation services. HistoryThe Ark began in 1996 within Abundant Life UMC. A wonderful woman named Mandy had the vision and passion to create the first preschool within the church.
