Dr. Bal Reddy is an Assistant Professor at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). He is currently the Medical Student Education Director for the Department of Family & Community Medicine.Dr. Bal Reddy is a highly regarded board certified Family Physician who has been actively practicing for over a decade in the Houston area. As an experienced Family Physician who trained in the Texas Medical Center, he is well-versed in caring for patients of all ages and complexity levels. He also performs several low-risk outpatient procedures and cares for patients hospitalized at Memorial Hermann Hospital-TMC.He has authored/co-authored multiple review books in Family Medicine education, and given several state and national presentations on various topics. His primary area of interest is in medical education.Dr. Reddy divides his time between patient care, teaching, and directing multiple required primary care courses at the McGovern Medical School.
