League City Intermediate School provides general academic programs to more than 1,400 students in grades six through eight. The school conducts classes in language arts, math, science and social studies. It offers Spanish as a foreign language. It also features a band, choir and orchestra. League City Intermediate School offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as music, theater, fine arts, and technology and physical education. The school operates a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising activities and special programs, including book fairs and musical shows. In addition, it provides a range of sports activities that includes basketball, volleyball and football. The school also offers counseling, guidance, food and medical care. Established in 1982, League City Intermediate School is a part of the Clear Creek Independent School District.
