He earned his D.D.S. from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio before completing both his internship and pediatric dentistry residency at Texas A&M University – Baylor College of Dentistry. He earned his D.M.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and went on to complete a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, with his research on oral cancer tumor suppression published in Nature Chemical Biology. He also holds a Master of Public Health degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia. During his pediatric dentistry training, Dr. Sentelle gained extensive experience working with children from diverse backgrounds, including those with complex medical needs.
