BRAZOS MONTESSORI & Early Childhood Program

History

The founder of Brazos Montessori worked as a Montessori teacher for many years in a school in Houston, TX. When she was pregnant with her youngest child, she decided to make time for herself and to be available for the soon to be born child, by babysitting the children of her friends. This slowly evolved into a home daycare service, and after having much success in the area from home, the school moved into a commercial property in 2013.

Specialties

Brazos Montessori is a an early childhood development center that utilizes successful teaching methods as outlined by Maria Montessori. Using these methods, children learn important life skills via hands on educational activities, that are designed to enrich and enforce knowledge rather than traditional school systems' memorize and recite philosophy. The teachers employed have a knack for identifying and relating with each child on an emotional level, developing a strong bond with the child. All children crave to be related with, and when done properly, the child can be directed through life without guilt shame or fear.
