HistoryHOPE Inside is an initiative by Operation HOPE, a nonprofit that teaches financial literacy and acts as a private banker for the working poor, the underserved and struggling middle class. HOPE Insides offer a variety of financial empowerment programs including 700 credit score, small business development, homeownership, mortgage crisis hotline, foreclosure counseling and cyber cafes. HOPE Insides are physical locations in which Operation HOPE carries out Project 5117, which aims to strengthen the economy by focusing on empowering those who earn less than $50,000 a year. A national alliance with the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and with the ongoing support of the American Bankers Association and Protective Life supports the initiative and its leaders, Dr. Bernice King, Ambassador Andrew Young and John Hope Bryant.SpecialtiesHOPE Inside Memphis provides on-the-ground, in-person support to people looking to take back their lives by getting their finances in order.
