Our passion at Ace is private instruction and coaching for whitewater kayakers who want to improve their performance and step up their game. We work with all levels of paddlers, from beginner to advanced, and specialize in many concentrations of the sport. Our main focus is on river running, creeking, and freestyle. Ace offers mostly private coaching but also caters to larger groups such as college students, camps, and Boy Scout troops, for whom we offer multiple merit badge programs. Additionally, we provide guided river trips using inflatable kayaks (funyaks) on the Ocoee in Tennessee. These are geared for clients who want to experience the sport but may lack the skills to kayak class IV rapids. Our funyaking program is one of the most extreme commercial whitewater trips available on the East Coast.
