More than 600 physicians from a variety of specialties work at Lexington Medical Center. The regional system provides health care programs and medical treatment to the residents and visitors throughout Lexington County, S.C. Services provided by Lexington Medical Center include emergency care, cancer care, radiology, radiation oncology and surgery. Encompassed within the health system is a more than 315-bed medical complex and six community medical centers located throughout the county. Primary and specialty practices located within the system include the areas of neurosurgery, pediatrics and obstetrics/gynecology. Established in 1971, Lexington Medical Center s main campus is located in West Columbia, S.C.
