History

an Inn overlooking The French Creek, The Inn was established as a stop for purchasers of the Highly sought Black Granite that was mined in the Town. A wonderful Village hidden in the park system of French Creek, Marsh Creek and Hopewell Furnace.

Cute place. Food was solid. Burgers were very good. Delicious cider on tap. Only place open in town on Memorial Day and it filled up outside very very quickly. We were the first ones waiting...

Has this place been sold? Is there a new operator? Medium well hamburger served raw. Fish and chips was a dried up hockey puck. Service was inattentive. Last summer everything was very good....
