The laboratory is fully equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation that is continually updated to stay current with the latest technology. Some of these include: Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometers ( AA ) and Inductively Coupled Plasma/Mass Spectrometer ( ICP/MS ) for trace metal analyses; Gas Chromatographs ( GC ) and Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer ( GC/MS ) for organic analyses; Ion Chromatograph, BOD AutoEZ, Total Organic Carbon ( TOC ), and Spectrophotometers for various wet chemistry analyses; Microwave, Hot Blocks, and MidiVap digestion units for various sample preparations.
