J.K. Gotwals Elementary School, located in Norristown, Pa., is a part of the Norristown Area School District. It offers classes from kindergarten through grade five, and has an enrollment of more than 400 students. The curriculum includes a wide range of subjects, including reading, writing, art, music, mathematics, and computer science. Monthly grade-level communication meetings are held for parents to discuss curriculum, assessments, instructional strategies, KidWriting, Everyday Math, CompassLearning and guided reading.
