History
PWNW was founded by Linda Austin & Jeff Forbes in 1999 and received its 501(c)(3) status the same year. Our space opened in the Foster-Powell neighborhood of SE Portland in 2000 and since then has been a vibrant site for rehearsals, workshops, classes and performances. PWNW has also produced performances of Linda Austin Dance at venues such as Conduit, the Echo Theatre, Imago Theatre and in warehouses and galleries.
