HistoryShop was opened in October 2010. The owner, Joel La Follette of West Linn, has been in the fly fishing industry as a guide or fly shop manager for over 14 years, and fly fishing for over 45 years. He has hosted groups to tropical destinations over the past 10 years, and spends time chasing steelhead in BC and here in Oregon when not in the shop.
