In that, Dragonfly seeks to be a nurturing environment where all children are welcomed and encouraged to discover the joy of dance regardless of previous dance experience. Dragonfly classes are developmentally focused and aimed at helping your child expand her/his creativity and dance with freedom and joy. Classes explore the dancer's body moving through space, our relationship to time, and how much or little energy it takes to move and groove. We dance with props, use varying music, read stories, and even create art projects from time to time. Dragonfly uses modern dance technique as a foundation to support creative adventures.

Natya Leela Academy is a South Indian Classical Dance school located in Portland, Oregon, specializing in the ancient dance form of Bharathanatyam. Their mission is to teach the traditional dance styles of India and help students of all ages discover their inner passion for dance, while also promoting the contemporary expression of Bharatanatyam to a wider audience. Under the guidance of their Artistic Director, Subashini Ganesan, Natya Leela Academy offers classes for new and intermediate dancers, as well as performances and workshops that showcase the universal emotional depths present in South Indian Classical Dances.
