Go see Kim - she is thorough in the cut and engaging in conversation. I've been there four times and each time I leave feeling good and refreshed.

My elderly husband gets a scissor trim from Kin Amh and she does a great job. Everyone is friendly and they have same day/walkins. We like the one near New Seasons on Hawthorn.

Beware! Asked her to cut off 1" she cut 3"! Will be wearing a hat for a while... Definitely disregarded what I kept saying and did what she wanted... Not happy!

It's nearly impossible to find a barbershop in Portland for under $20 so finding Barber-Q was a relief. You can get a decent men's haircut here for $18. There are usually two female barbers here...
