Motor Vehicle Division

The Motor Vehicle Division is governed by a part of the Oklahoma Tax Commission. The division offers titling and registration programs for vehicles, boats and outboard motors, and travel and commercial trailers. It administers vehicle registration and driver licensing processes. The Motor Vehicle Division provides assistance with the transfer of ownership of vehicles. The Motor Vehicle Division also registers unconventional vehicles. In addition, it issues personalized license plates for various colleges, universities and nonprofit organizations. The Oklahoma Tax Commission is responsible for the promotion of tax compliance and the administration and enforcement of state tax laws. The agency distributes tax publications and charts.
