Slurping Turtle introduces a culinary twist on traditional Japanese ramen and sushi dishes by blending the culture and palate of Japan with the spirited personalities of the chefs in our kitchen. Originally opening the concept in Chicago in 2011, expanding to Ann Arbor in 2014 and Columbus in 2020. Slurping Turtle combines unique ingredients, recipes and presentation in addition to making homemade ramen noodles in house. The turtle symbolizes longevity and good luck in Japanese culture. While enjoying ramen, you are encouraged to slurp your noodles as a polite gesture of enjoyment. The Slurping Turtle is a sign of the harmonious relationship we strive to create with our food and our guests.
