As a specialist of plastic and reconstructive surgery at Ohio State's Wexner Medical Center, I perform the full spectrum of procedures in this specialty, including those related to cancer, trauma and congenital conditions. I'm part of a multidisciplinary team at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Care Center that focuses on all cancer patients, such as those undergoing treatment for breast cancer, skin cancer or sarcomas. I have received fellowship training in the technique of microsurgery (free flap reconstruction), which involves using a patient's own tissues to reconstruct defects and deformities.
