Established in 1920, the Cleveland Institute of Music provides bachelors, masters, diploma, certificate, professional studies and doctoral programs in music. The institute provides conservatory programs for more than 1600 individuals between the ages of 3 and 18. It operates the Young Composers Program, which assists with developing creative and professional skills, as well as includes listening sessions and seminars on topics related to music. The Cleveland Institute of Music offers CIM Summer Chamber Music, which is a course that combines coaching, rehearsals, ear training, music literature classes, movement classes and final performance sessions. In addition, the institute organizes various concert series and local musical events. It is located in Cleveland.
