History
The Bowman Country Historical and Genealogical Society formed in 1983. In 1991, the Historical Society purchased the museum building, and the doors opened in 1992. Over the past 30 years, Pioneer Trails Regional Museum has worked hard to preserve the historic and geologic histories of Bowman and Slope counties. It uses current research to make unique displays to tell the history of the area.
