The Northeastern Association of the Blind at Albany, also known as NABA, is a private, nonprofit organization that serves individuals with visual impairments. Established in 1908, it offers vision screening services and job training classes. The association works with individuals to develop independent living skills and techniques, such as household management, meal preparation and personal care. The Northeastern Association of the Blind at Albany serves throughout the greater Capital region to the residents of Albany, Columbia, Fulton, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie and Washington counties in New York.
